Spacewright
An original sci-fi universe by CrownForge. Explore Concord Station, unravel the mystery of The Beacon, and navigate the Implant Crisis across the stars.
Pathfinder 2e
Paizo's tactical masterpiece. Three-action economy, deep character customization, and a combat system that rewards strategic thinking.
Fate Core
Narrative-first gaming. Aspects, fate points, and the flexibility to tell any story in any genre you can imagine.
Blades in the Dark

d100 Cosmic Horror

More systems on the way.
The World
Procedural Maps
Hex-based terrain with settlements, dungeons, and secrets scattered across the landscape. Fog of war lifts as you explore, revealing what lies beyond the next hill.
Weather & Seasons
Blizzards slow travel and force the party to seek shelter. Thunderstorms set the mood for dramatic confrontations. The world has seasons that affect gameplay.
Living Economy
Prices vary by region and scarcity. That healing potion costs more in the frontier than in the capital city. Merchants remember if you haggle too hard.
Tactical Combat
SNES-style pixel art battle maps with tokens and grid movement. Track initiative, manage positioning, and watch your spells light up the battlefield.
Proprietary Rules Engine
One engine that handles the mechanics for any game system. D&D spell slots, Fate aspects, Blades stress tracks, Tradecraft Heat — each system gets real rules enforcement, not improvised approximations. Patent pending.
The Story
NPCs Remember You
Every character you meet has a biography that grows over time. The bartender remembers your generous tip. The guard captain hasn't forgotten that bribe.
Your Backstory Matters
That rival from your past? They'll show up when you least expect it. Family secrets surface at dramatic moments. Old debts come due.
Everyone Gets Their Moment
Questwright tracks who's been quiet and creates openings for them. The rogue gets a lock to pick. The cleric finds a wounded traveler. No one sits on the bench.
Pacing That Reads the Room
If the story drags, a complication arrives. If it's been nonstop combat, a quiet moment appears. Callbacks to earlier choices surface when they hit hardest.
Play in Your Language
Describe your actions in any language and the AI responds in kind. Active campaigns running in French, Portuguese, Greek, and more. No configuration needed — just play.
The Hero
Character Creator
Full creation wizard for every supported system. Pick your abilities, choose equipment, and walk out of the tavern ready for adventure.
Leveling & Progression
XP tracking with milestone support. When you level up, choose new features, ability score improvements, feats, and spells right from your character sheet.
Magic & Abilities
Full spellcasting support with spell slots, preparation, cantrips, and rest recovery. Plus system-specific resources like Fate Points, stress tracks, and more.
Inventory & Gear
Equip weapons and armor, organize items in containers, track currency across five denominations. Your backpack is finally as organized as you want it to be.

ChatGPT can improvise a story. Questwright runs a real campaign.
Persistent Characters
Real character sheets with stats, inventory, spells, and progression that persist across sessions.

Common Questions
What exactly is Questwright?
Questwright is an AI-powered Dungeon Master for tabletop roleplaying games. It handles everything a human DM would: running combat encounters, voicing NPCs, describing environments, tracking initiative, and weaving your character's backstory into the narrative. It supports multiple game systems through a proprietary rules engine, starting with D&D 5th Edition and Spacewright, with more systems in development. The AI remembers every NPC you've met, every choice you've made, and every enemy you've crossed. Your campaign persists between sessions, building a living world that reacts to your decisions.
What game systems does Questwright support?
Questwright currently supports D&D 5th Edition and Spacewright (an original sci-fi universe built by CrownForge). Pathfinder 2nd Edition, Fate Core, Blades in the Dark, d100 Cosmic Horror, and Tradecraft (an original modern spy system by CrownForge) are in active development. The proprietary rules engine is designed to be system-agnostic — each system gets full character creation, combat, progression, and AI narration tailored to its specific mechanics. More systems are planned.
Can I play solo?
Absolutely. Solo play is one of Questwright's strengths. The AI scales encounters for a single player, provides NPC companions when the story calls for it, and creates narratives that work for one hero's journey. Many of our testers play solo during the week when scheduling with friends is impossible, then bring their same character into group sessions on weekends. There's no judgment here — solo tabletop is a legitimate and rewarding way to play.
What about multiplayer?
Multiplayer works seamlessly. Invite friends to your campaign and everyone shares the same persistent world. The AI handles turn order in combat, manages party dynamics, and rotates the spotlight so quieter players get their moments too. Players can drop in and out — if someone misses a session, the story continues and they catch up when they return. No more canceling game night because one person can't make it.
What is Spacewright?
Spacewright is Questwright's original science fiction setting, built from the ground up by CrownForge. It's a full tabletop RPG experience set among the stars. Explore Concord Station, a beating heart of interstellar civilization where species that probably shouldn't trust each other have decided to try anyway. Unravel the ancient mystery of The Beacon. Navigate the Implant Crisis, where the line between biology and technology has become the most dangerous question in the galaxy. Complete with unique species, factions, and its own character creation and combat system.
Do I need to know the rules?
Not at all. Questwright handles all the mechanical complexity behind the scenes. Just describe what your character wants to do in plain language, like "I want to sneak past the guards" or "I cast fireball at the ogre," and the system figures out the dice rolls, modifiers, saving throws, and outcomes. This works across every supported game system. It's a great way for new players to learn organically, and experienced players can focus on roleplay instead of rulebook lookups.
How is this different from using ChatGPT as a DM?
Questwright is a purpose-built tabletop RPG platform, not a chatbot. It includes persistent character sheets, real dice mechanics, proper game state tracking, procedural world generation, tactical battle maps, NPC memory, and a rules engine that actually enforces game rules across multiple systems. ChatGPT can improvise a story, but it can't track your inventory, enforce spell slots, run tactical combat on a grid, or remember what happened three sessions ago. Questwright runs a real campaign.
How does the web interface work?
Everything runs in your browser. Your character sheet tracks inventory, spells, abilities, and conditions automatically. The campaign page shows your party, NPCs you've met, locations you've discovered, and a timeline of major events. During play, you type what your character says or does, and Questwright responds with narration, NPC dialogue, and mechanical outcomes.
Can I play on Discord?
Yes. When you create a campaign, you can generate a private Discord channel on our server with one click. Only your party members can see it. Play directly in Discord using slash commands while your character sheet and campaign data stay synced with the web. Some players prefer Discord for the chat-based feel, others use the web interface, and some mix both depending on the situation.
What content is included?
For D&D 5th Edition alone: over 400 monsters, 300 spells, 370 magic items, 40+ feats, and all core races, classes, and backgrounds. Spacewright adds its own species, equipment, and sci-fi mechanics. Each additional game system brings its own content library. The procedural generation system creates unique worlds, dungeons, NPCs, quests, and loot across all systems. You can also run classic adventure modules or create fully custom settings.
Can I play in a language other than English?
Yes. The AI Dungeon Master speaks your language. Just type in whatever language you're comfortable with and Questwright responds naturally. We have active campaigns running in French, Brazilian Portuguese, Greek, and more. No settings to change, no translation layer — the AI adapts to you. It even handles mixed-language play if you switch mid-conversation.
Is this free?
